This song is a direct descendant from the Burti Lasky days (ie. '96 with Paul Sadlon, Darin Edwards, & Sean Stephens). Sean was great at writing & playing funk, & the core idea from this was lifted from Sean (with his blessing... after the fact). I figured the Ashley Newall Band was at the point where I could intro a half-baked idea, which it was to start, & the guys could, er, bake it. Alas, I was mishtaken & it took at least a year until I'd properly developed the song & it finally found it's way onto our setlist.
